PETER L. STEIN & JENNIFER KAUFMAN
DETAILS:
Over the past year, the 2023 LABA fellows have dived into ancient Jewish texts, learning about the subject of “taboo” from all angles, and then allowing these stories and ideas to fertilize new work. Come see the results at TABOO, which will take place in the 970 Gallery at the Institute of Contemporary Art in San Francisco @ 901 Minnesota St, San Francisco, CA 94107.
On both 11/11 & 11/12, you can come between the hours of 10 am -4 pm for a gallery experience to see art and installation pieces. Performances and teachings will take place between 5-7 pm both days, and are ticketed separately — gallery show will be on display at this time as well. All tickets sales are pay-what-you-can and are 100% a donation to help LABA BAY continue to push the boundaries of what Jewish texts can teach and what Jewish culture can be.
GALLERY-ONLY VIEWING OPEN ON NOVEMBER 11 AND NOVEMBER 12, 10-4 pm.
BOTH PERFORMANCES ARE NOW SOLD-OUT
